Congratulations to Kaity Creasy, who has accepted a tenure-track offer from Butler University!  Beginning in August 2017, she will be an Assistant Professor in the Butler Department of Philosophy, Religion, and Classics, and will be  teaching courses in 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy and Environmental Philosophy.  Currently, Kaity is Russell J. and Dorothy S. Bilinski Dissertation Fellow, and she is scheduled to defend her dissertation in May 2017.In the dissertation, Kaity investigates the role of personal transformation and openness in Nietzsche's solution to the problem of nihilism in the West.
