John Taber Named Regents' Professor

Congratulations to Professor John Taber for being named Regents' Professor by the UNM College of Arts and Sciences!
As per the description on the College web site, "Regents' Professor is a special title bestowed on selected senior faculty members who, in the judgment of the Dean and on the advice of a faculty selection committee, merit recognition of their accomplishments as teachers, scholars and leaders both in University affairs and in their national/international professional communities."
Professor Taber's active term as a Regents' Professor is 2015 to 2018, and he will retain the title for the remainder of his career at UNM. By earning this title, Professor Taber joins a very small and very distinguished group of Professors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Please join us in congratulating him on this well-deserved recognition of his lasting contributions to his field, his students, and the UNM community.
