Stephen Harris has begun a two-year, half-time position as Assistant Professor at Leiden University in The Netherlands.  Stephen will be working in the Institute for Philosophy and teaching classes in Comparative Philosophy. In December 2013, Stephen successfully defended his dissertation, Demandingness, Self-Interest and Benevolence in Śāntideva’s Introduction to the Practice of Awakening (Bodhicaryāvatāra), and he is set to graduate with his PhD in Philosophy this May 2014.
